EAR PROTECTION

Ear Protection is one of the most important items a shooter MUST have and must wear at all times whilst in a range. Ear protection in the form of earmuffs or at least earplugs should be the first purchase of a shooter. There are many different types, which can be purchased from any firearms dealer or hardware store. Please ensure when you are purchasing your hearing protection you look at the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) when making your choice – the higher the rating the better.

EYE PROTECTION

Along with ear protection, eye protection is also an essential safety requirement. Even if you do not require spectacles for normal use, you must always use protective glasses to guard against eye damage from hot powders and gases, along with possible flying objects (empty cases or ricochets)..
Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times on any range.
Glasses and ear muffs are available for loan, along with disposable ear plugs, from the club house if you do not have your own.

FOOT WEAR

Enclosed foot wear (e.g. sneakers, boots, etc) must be worn at all times whilst on the range. Sandals, thongs, scuffs, etc are not permitted to be worn.
